Dangling Easter Arrow sign

How adorable is this. So I have had three wood arrow signs from Dollar🌳 laying in my craft drawer for several months. I was thinking about using them at Christmas time but my issue was the wording. Wood letters were to big and I wasn't feeling letter stickers. Now that I have a Cricut I have no worries. I like to think outside the box on my projects. Always like putting my own twist on a Diy. I didn't want to label each arrow with the popular wording everyone uses, Egg hunt, Bunny trail, Carrot patch ect... so I switched them up a bit. Since each arrow has a theme I wanted to make sure I had matching accents to go with them. My first step in the project was staining the arrows. I used two different colors. Always love playing with different stain colors. While the arrows were drying I cut my words on my Cricut. I wanted the font to be fun and handwritten like. After searching through tons of fonts on my Cricut I found my perfect match, Lemonade Bold. White adhesive vinyl was used. After my words were applied I started my accents on each arrow. Using my Cricut I cut a bunny image for my "Bunny Hop" arrow. I found a floral stem in my craft drawer that had a fuzzy center. It worked perfect for the bunny's tail. I also found two little flowers which I dressed up with a Dollar Tree pearl sticker. On my second arrow "Dying Eggs" I used Elmer's glue and attached a few Pier 1 scattered eggs to each side. The last arrow, "Carrots" I added two jute carrots from Dollar Tree. Once all my arrow signs were complete my last step was attaching them together. Originally I was going to use a wood stake but changed my mind and decided to do a dangling style sign. I'm pretty surprised I pulled it off. Using jute twine I cut a nice long piece. I folded the twine in half. Starting at top I made a loop handle. The remaining twine layed flat on the right and left sides of all the arrows. Using a staple gun I attached the twine to each arrow. Kind of hard explaing these instructions so I posted a picture of the back of the sign to give you a idea. Happy Happy with how this came out. It will make a home on my kitchen door.
