How freaking adorable is this. Dollar Tree has these mini unfinished bird houses in their Crafter's Square section. They come in four different styles but I especially like this one. I wanted to give it a rustic look so I started off using a wood stain from Varathane. Once dry I played around with two Folk Art Paints. A Pickling Wash in Sea Glass color and a white satin acrylic paint. Once I got it where I wanted it I went digging in my three floral craft drawers for some accent pieces. I always save my leftover scraps. You never know when you may just use them. I added the floral pieces with hot glue. This a perfect accent piece for a tier tray, centerpiece or even displayed on a shelf. Here are the size dimensions, they are little.
