Easter wood plank sign

How freaking cute is this. Everything paired up so well with this project. To start off I sanded a Walmart plank sign. It was a distressed white wood and in order for my words to show up on the sign some of the original white paint had to go. I got the metal word sayings in a three pack at Dollar Tree. I sprayed them in a white linen by Rust-Oleum. I bought this adorable bunny pick from Micheals that I knew would work perfectly with the sign. I also decided to add a Dollar Tree jute carrot. I wasn't feeling the original orange color for the carrot. I wanted it to be a more neutral color matching the bunny pick. I decided to wrap the carrot in Dollar Tree jute twine. I also added more green rafia to the top of carrot. To give a little color to the bunny he got some green rafia as a accent. I used hot glue to attach the carrot and bunny. Elmer's glue was the best bet for the metal words. I do not suggest using hot glue on metal. Your patience will run out. Love the neutral colors of this sign. I'm hoping to incorporate this on my Easter mantle.
