Super easy fun Diy using a majority of Dollar Tree items. After seeing the "Oh Snap" idea on Pinterest and in stores I thought I would give it a try. To start off I decided to use the the popular Dollar Tree galvanized wood frame that everyone is on the hunt for. I'm fortunate to have a nice supply of these. My store had them in stock for weeks before Covid. Every visit I would pick up a few. The ideas are endless with them. To begin the project I first removed the galvanized piece from the frame. I'm loving the frame for this diy but the metal piece had to go. After testing several Holiday scrapbook paper styles I chose a simple red and white striped theme for the background of frame. The scrapbook paper is from Hobby Lobby. The paper was cut to size and inserted in the frame. The galvanized piece and the frame backing were put back. Next was adding the ginger bread man to the frame. I scored these cute gingerbread men felt stickers from Dollar Tree. Just the right size to add to my frame. So before sticking him to the paper background I had to sadly amputate his foot with a pair of scissors. I then stuck Mr. Gingerbread man to the scrapbook paper background. No need to glue since the felt gingerbread man has adhesive on the back. His detached foot was then spaced out slightly from his leg. I also removed the green accent bow from the gingerbread man so my colors stayed in the red and white theme. After the gingerbread man was placed in center I used my Cricut to cut out the words "Oh Snap". I used black removable vinyl. The last feature I needed to change on my gingerbread man was his smiley face. Digging through my craft drawer I fould a piece of white foam that I cut into a small thin strip. I formed it into a frown shape and lightly hot glued it to the gingerbread man's face. My last step was adding a bow to the frame. I loved how this turned out. This would be a fun diy to include with the kids.
