Fall is in the AiršŸšŸšŸ

Updated: Oct 13, 2019

Sweet inexpensive Fall Diys to compliment your living space. Dollar Tree has been quite the hit in the DIY world. I've incorporated many Dollar Tree items into my projects. Budget friendly and surely light on the pocket. Here is my favorites

Dollar🌳 galvanized pail created this cute Fall themed decor. It was sprayed in a chiffon cream by Rust-Oleum . Stamps were used for the "Fresh Pumpkins". The 5 cents was handwritten on a Dollar🌳 diy pumpkin wood sticker. That was sprayed in a Serenity blue by Rust-Oleum. The pail was filled with Plastic Dollar🌳 pumpkins that got a color makeover. They were in the traditional orange color. As a added accent wheat grass from Hobby Lobby was added. This sweet decor occupies my mantle

Diy tier tray made with two thrift store plates and a platter. Old scrolled metal candle holders were used as the post. Folklore acrylic paint was used to paint all the plates. Hot glue worked fine to put it all together. My decor pieces are Diys and Dollar🌳 items. My tier tray has a home on my buffett sideboard for each holiday and season.

So awesome Dollar🌳 now carries different sized stretch canvas. I did the reverse canvas technique on this Fall project. So what does Reverse Canvas mean. Basically your removing the canvas which in turn reveals a unfinished wood frame. You have the choice to either paint or stain frame. I chose to stain mine in two finishes. So now what to put on the canvas. The ideas are endless. In my case I wanted a cute pumpkin sign. The "Fresh Pumpkins" words were stamped. I recruited my boyfriend on the pumpkin He has mad painting skills that I don't have. The canvas background was painted in different shades of blue.Once everything is dry you reattach your finished canvas to back of frame. I recommend a staple gun. Shoot a staple in the middle of each side first and then give it a good tug and work your way around with more staples till it's a nice clean fit.

So the Dollar🌳 had these unfinished pumpkins forms. Basically create what you want on them. I wanted my to match my living room color scheme. I sprayed it my favorite color, Serenity blue by Rust-Oleum. The Dollar🌳 has a 2pk and 3 pk Fall metal word sayings. I chose the Harvest and Blessing which were sprayed in Chiffon cream by Rust-Oleum. Cute leaf diy wood stickers were attached as a accent. When all said and done, a sweet Pumpkin decor that now occupies my mantle

Mason jar pumpkins. Popular Fall Diy. 20 mason jar rings were used to create this. I sprayed the rings in a Rustic orange by Rust-Oleum. Very important to let these bad boys dry for at least 24 hrs. When completely dry I used some sandpaper to give it a distressed look. So how do you attach these guys. A long ziptie works wonders. What's cool is once you start feeding the rings into the ziptie it automatically creates a round form. When all rings are attached fasten your ziptie with a nice pull. Decorate to your liking. My accents were a cinnamon stick and Dollar🌳 floral picks

This mason jar pumpkin was created with 24 rings and sprayed in Serenity blue by Rust-Oleum. Dollar🌳 floral picks created the finishing touch

How cool is this. A project so out of the box. So during the Spring Dollar🌳 had woven placemats. I picked up some with the full intentions of using them on my patio table. Well they took on a whole new purpose. The mind of a crazy craft lady. Thinking hmmmm I wonder how this would look if I trace out the pumpkin on mat and cover it on the wood form. Well my wondering was a success. So a lot of people asked me about unraveling issues. Well to my suprise I didn't have any major issues with this. After hot gluing the mat onto the pumpkin I had few areas at the edges that needed to be trimmed. Also hotglue was a nice fix on some of the problem areas. The metal accent leaves were actually on Dollar🌳 ceramic pumpkins. Each were painted. Love the simplicity of this.

Love this simple Fall sign. Stole a sweet piece of wood from my bf's stash. Sprayed Dollar🌳 wood leaf ornaments in Blue Serenity and Chiffon cream by Rust-Oleum. Repeated with the Dollar🌳 wood letters too. The little stems were painted in Truffle by Waverly chalk paint. All items were hot glued. Love how this looks on the center of my Fall theme mantle
