Gooble Gooble!!! Sweet Diy's for Turkey Day🦃

Updated: Nov 8, 2019

Love this Farmhouse style Diy. Can't take full credit for this project. My boyfriend's handyman and painting skills were needed. My boyfriend likes to keep a nice supply of wood around the house. We get into a lot of projects, that's a good thing. The frame was made with vintage reclaimed wood from a awesome Salvage/Reclaim warehouse in my town called Second Chance. It is surely a Diy'ers dream. Here is the website link if you happen to be in Baltimore, Md🤣

The wood came exactly the way you see it including the worn paint. My boyfriend measured and cut out chicken wire which was stapled to frame. The turkey is a unfinished wood form from Dollar🌳 It was sprayed in Golddust by Rust-Oleum. After that complety dried we added the Dollar🌳 stencil "Thankful and Blessed" It was sprayed with Rust-Oleum white paint.Using Hobby Lobby paper I traced the tip of the turkey feathers. They were mod poged to the wood form. My bf was enlisted for all the turkey details. He used a assortment of acrylic paints. He think he did a fine job. My kitchen window will be the home for this piece. Once the Halloween decor is taken down, ha ha

Gobble well really Gobble Gobble!!! The sign would be way to long if I did do that. Stole another fine piece of wood from my bf's supply. Picked up some Dollar🌳 turkey wood ornaments and letters to create this sign. Using Hobby Lobby Thanksgiving scrapbook paper I traced the turkeys. The paper was then mod podged to the wood forms. The letters were painted in orange and brown acyrilic paints. All items were attached with hot glue.

Thanksgiving/Fall decor frame made with suprising items. So back in the Summer I picked up quite a few of these Dollar Tree woven placemats. They were susposed to be used for my patio table but now have been used in many of my Diy's, go figure. So I carefully cut the placemat to fit the Dollar Tree frame. Hot glue works perfect to correct any unraveling of the placemat. Once the background was set I used some unlikely items to complete the decor of the frame. I reallly liked a style of Thanksgiving dinner napkins from Dollar Tree. Picked up a pack knowing I would somehow use the design on the napkin for a project. The other material I used was a piece of cardboard. Not sure how that came about. So I cut my design out of the napkin and mod podged it to the square cardboard cut out. Pretty impressed how they all fit together especially with the coastal theme Dollar tree frame. The cardboard was attached to the outside of glass. I recommend using E6000 glue. Hot glue and glass are not always a good pair.
