Mini Holiday Decor Frame perfect for a tier tray

So my Etsy Shop has been quite busy and I'm trying so hard to squeeze in my Diy's to share with you. With December almost nearing I need to figure out how I'm decorating my Christmas tier tray for 2020. Today I had some extra time to fit in few projects for myself. I'm hoping this decor piece makes my tier tray. To create this I used the 3x3 mini photo frame and the popular Farmer's Market calendar both from Dollar Tree. I scored the calendar back in August. Finding one now is nearly impossible. To start this project off I sprayed the mini silver frame in white linen chalk paint from Rust-Oleum. Give the frame a good few hours to dry. With the frame drying this gave me time to finish the remaining steps. I cut the small thumb-nail like image(Farm Fresh Trees) from the Dollar Tree calendar. I've seen many cute creations on the diy groups using these small images. They look real nice mod podged on a rustic small piece of wood or used with jenga blocks. My next step was figuring out what background I wanted to use for frame. Digging through my scrapbook paper I found the perfect red and white gingham print to use. The little farm fresh tree calendar image was then mod podged to center of the scrapbook paper. I then made a small bow from my ribbon collection. The style I chose paired nicely with my project. When the frame was dry I then inserted the scrapbook paper into frame. I decided to put the glass behind the paper instead of in the front. The cardboard frame backing was then inserted. Finally I added the little bow to top of frame with hot glue. I really love this little guy. It surely is a great decor piece to add to a holiday tier tray. Excited to use the other small images for future diys.
