Pumpkin Makeovers

Sweet thrift store find gets a makeover. Originally these nice sturdy pumpkins were gold. Not my color choice at all. I knew I could give these a new fresh coat of paint and a few of my added touches. Now they look like something you would see at Pier 1. Each were painted in Rust-Oleum Serenity blue chalk paint. Dolled them up with some rose embellishments from Hobby Lobby and rafia.

So these small ceramic pumpkins were from Dollar🌳. I liked the color they were but again not crazy about the gold. I painted the gold stems in Truffle brown and Plaster by Waverly .For accents I used the rose embellishments from Hobby Lobby and my favorite floral stems from Dollar🌳 which are a Queen Anne's Lace. I love that Dollar🌳 carries them in different colors for seasons and holidays. I normally pop the buds off the stems and incorporate them in a ton of my diys. A little bit of rafia was also used. Who would have thought this was a Dollar store item.
