Valentine Decor Frames

Can you believe I was able to squeeze my 1st Valentine project in before the new year. On a mission to have all my V-Day projects done by Jan 14th. Why the 14th? My plan is to have my wall mantle decorated for Vday by the 14th. That gives me a whole month to display it. So here is my first project, a set of cute Valentine decor frames. For both of them I used the Dollar Tree galvanized wood frames. Everyone is trying to get their hands on these guys. Been fortunate finding them everytime I visit my local DT. I pulled the galvanized metal out of each frame since I had plans for each to have their own background. So after a visit to DT recently I found these cute Valentine treat sacs that are made of burlap. I knew I could definitely add them in a project. I came up with the idea on the "Love" frame to use the treat sac as a background to frame. The sac was cut to fit frame. I then hot glued the sac to a piece of cardboard. The cardboard was also measured and cut to fit the frame. Once the sac was put in place with heart centered in frame I decided to add these cute typewriting style letter stickers from Hobby Lobby. I spelled out "Love" and hot glued each letter to inside of heart. To give the frame a accent I used the red drawstring from the treat sac as a bow. I hot glued the bow to top of frame. With the other frame, "XOXO" I decided to give it a different background. I picked up a roll of gift wrap with polka dots. I cut the wrap to fit frame. The gift wrap was modpodged to heavy cardstock and then placed in frame. With this project I used the treat sacs again. I cut the pink heart from sac and then hot glued it to the gift wrap background. Using the Hobby Lobby letter stickers I spelled out XOXO. Each

letter was hot glued to center of heart. So there you go, a very simple and cute diy for Valentine's Day to display on a shelf, end table or mantle.
