Wine Cork Snowman

What a challenging project. This guy took 50 wine corks. Wish they would have been all the same dimensions. It surely would have made my life much easier. A few fails but eventually got him together. Hot glue worked pretty well with the natural used corks I was using. Once he was put together I painted the wine cork ends in white chalk paint from Waverly. For his hat I used a Dollar Tree hat ornament. I gave the hat a complete makeover. Pulled the original needle accents off and covered the red ribbon with some scrap blue ribbon I had in my craft drawer. I also covered the white snow effect the hat originally had with black acrylic paint. Topped his hat with a paper flower from Micheals. The scarf was also made with the scrap ribbon I used for his hat. To keep him stable since he is pretty tall I stained a unfinished craft plaque that I got from Dollar Tree. Elmer's glue was the best choice to adhering him to the plaque base. Really happy with the results. Took some time but was worth it⛄
